Lately I'm obsessed with an author, so I'm searching high and low to finish most of the author's collection and at the end of the day, deciding which is my favourite and buy that book.
So when me and my sis were walking passed this second-hand book-store with it's dusty smelly books, something in me just clicked and I rented enough to last me for couple of months.
The owner of the shop said the authors I looked for, suited middle-agers. To think I've been reading em for more than a decade.
Second-hand book-stores always surprise me. One never know what one will get, sometimes first paperback, sometimes the front-end cover we are partial towards and sometimes the book we used to read in our childhood just popped-up.
Why I dun borrow from libraries is I dun restrict myself to just one source. Plus waiting for the new books always seem to take forever.
And there will always be people selling or giving away books.
As they say, somebody's rubbish..somebody else's treasure.
