Lately no inspiration to write cos I'm hooked on latex shoes, red lipstick and sexy clothes.
This month of May 2009, there's so many things going on.
The H1N1 Flu, previously misunderstood as Swine Flu, erupted all over the world, carried by passengers on international flights. It's scary cos it's infectious and fatalities statistically proven, the only prevention is early prevention and getting one quarantined so it wont spread.
The face mask is making it's come back in fashion and literally swept off the pharmacy shops. Business has never looked so perky for the hygienic little cloth.
But I worry for mum cos if Sarawak got a case, she'd be quarantined along with other nurses if her department has to take on the severe cases. Touch wood, early prevention works well all over the world due to overexposure on the flu, so I gotta hand it to the mass media..kudos.
Many schools in Japan got closed, tho I personally imagined a kid got the flu then asked around if there's anybody who'd like to skip exams this year and it got out of hands, well, my imagination anyway. Anyway, schools' out for the month..in Japan.
South Korea got another famous suicide case, this time by one of their politicians who couldnt bear the pain of being accused of taking unlawful money. Read that the guy was straight as pin and clean as whistle, but the accusation got the best of him. Sincere condolence for the family members.
North Korea is becoming a rebellious old monkey with continuation of underground nuclear testing and warning off other countries for messing with them by firing missiles into empty skies. Many countries voiced their protest, but what are mere words but rain drops on empty tins to North Korea's deaf ears. In my opinion, they are scared shitless and this is their last stand; "Dont mess with us, or else.." When South Korea heard of their underground test, they went straight into meetings.
Anyway, I'll have to say North's scared of South's prosperous improvements, and since North's dun have much cash, they have to develop their own weaponeries. South's merely gotta buy the latest gadget with the money they got from tourism after promoting Winter Sonata and Boys Over Flowers and Rain's concerts, which scared North shitless, cos I think North thinks South's still got some vengeance against them and gonna shoot at them anytime and South's scared shitless of North's paranoia..my vivid imaginations again.
Malaysia is also cocked up with its many political ding dongs between the opposition party and UMNO. In my opinion, UMNO can only say so much, but their previous actions and words are starting to bite them in the arse what with the latest technologies and freedom of speech there is out there. Enough of Malaysia news..I'm tired of talking bout the mindless taichi and politicians and power struggle.
Myanmar is struggling on it's own; this time trying to keep the humble people's lady back into home arrest..for another 3 years, for action she didnt even partake. A writer swam across the river to the house she's arrested, and stayed couples of days probably interviewing her on how she'd been through the years of house-arrest. That..is another screw-up country. A person can win fair and square by the votes of its people, and the current government will just drag the winning party to house arrest until she would dissappear out of the people's memory. But in my opinion, her spirit lives, and one day she'll be on the same par as Mahatma Gandhi; immortality.
Anyway, if she took over the role of PM in Myanmar, imagine the possibilities. She'd encourage freedom of speech without being arrested and inspires its people to be open and receptive to change and children will be swept to schools just so they'd be equipted with knowledge and make their marks in the world and be a great respective little country that makes headlines wherever she goes, and people would listen too..well, in my imaginations anyway.
Besides the political dreariness, another glooming issue looms; economic meltdown.
Ok, not so melting nowadays, slighting freezing. We are living in a catch-22 period; people are scared of spending cos they are saving for rainy days and fear of retrenchments and H1N1 flu and the only thing which can bring the economy up is people spending their money! How double bind can it get?!? Sheesh..
Watched A Night at the Museum 2; not as memorable as the first but more exciting definitely. Waiting for Transformer 2. Watched Crank 1 and 2, Transporter 1 and 2 and 3, The Bank Job and The Italian Job..all starring Jason Statham. The guy's exuding charisma and oozes sex-appeal since Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrel..sweet. Hair or no hair, Jason Statham is sexy..period.
And u know what? Prison Break's finally ending..whoohoo!! I always imagined that drama will never end cos the protagonists will always have prisons to break, with the last prison being the mental institution..well, in my imaginations.
----------------------SPOILER FOR PRISON BREAK----------------------
One of the main protagonists died..from gunshot. If not, from brain tumour. But his baby lives and he's remembered. The other guy's still on the run..I think. To think that from the pilot episode the drama's being aired till the fourth year to it's finale, the whole storyline happened around 8 months..talk about being long winded, phew..
--------------------END SPOILER FOR PRISON BREAK--------------------
Supernatural's ending soon, probably ending with the two brothers fighting each other off in the final battle of apocalypse. Left one more year..
Lately also I've been watching Criminal Minds and aching to watch NCIS. The former is getting more interesting, my best episode's bout the mutated anthrax, a biologically engineered strain used for selfish malicious purposes. The latter is running out of juice that the storyline's including Special Agent Gibbs' ex-wives and spawning new branch; NCIS Los Angeles..scary but the agents would be sexy and the gossip have to be good.
CSI's getting lame since the change of cast and I guess, I need some time getting used to seeing Hodges constantly (*eww..) and Morpheus..wait, it's Laurence Fishburne..erm, Ray Langston. I'm still warming up to new casts. The perk is Nick's taking over Gil's role as the bug man..I guess that gotta worth something.
I've always wondered what happened to CSI Las Vegas Sofia Curtis starring Louise Lombard cos she was in CSI Las Vegas for a while before her character abruptly dissappeared..literally. Apparently she joined NCIS LA as Lara..involved with Gibbs..*eww..
I remembered her cos her first appearance involved her changing out of a red neck plunging satin dress into a CSI uniform while investigating a case..without a changing room.
So, back to my initial sentence; where can I get a good quality latex shoes..
