I'm happy that she got a nice work, tho she complains like a b*tch and very spoilt, I still luv her with all her lazy messy bones and all.
Now she's exchanging curses and laughing with the bf while enjoying their 3rd yr anniversary..kids.
I feel excited, sis is financially independent..whoohoo!!!
Last weekend didnt do anything much, just accompanies some kl friends who came to sg for the Standard Chartered Marathon.
Woke up at 7am, went out half an hr later, go to the Padang. Guess singaporeans did not have much of a imagination when they initially named the places, saw a large grassy field and called it Padang, saw the europeans visiting the bridge and called it Ang Mo Kio..you get my drift.
Lots n lots of ppl, headache..it's just way too early of a sunday to have strangers invading my 3-feet-diameter space of privacy. Plus the smell of masculinity..ar..many goodlooking guys half naked with skin glistening with sweat and self-satisfied smile on their face; of achievements of course.
So I waited for an hr and a half, hopefully to get pic of the friend passing the finish line. Only to get a sms that he's finished..argh..all the waitings and getting my slippers muddied..well, next year then.
Then met up with the friends and went back to their hotel and waited as they checked out and go for lunch. Nothing much, just hanging out with friends and light chatting while each one getting cleaned up and checked out.
And walked em back to the MRT. Had to walk slow just cos the friend was limping slightly..funny as hell as he tried to pull me back cos I was walking too fast since he was being egoistic, healthy dosage of course but made me torn between being amused and frustrated.
Had to respect the effort to finish the marathon. Walked the last 6 miles with blisters in the shoes, respect.
It feels great meeting up old friends and just hang..just wish that friend hadnt been so slow. And I'm not talking bout marathon. Ai..
