I woke up;
Went to wash my face,
And saw a pair of weary eyes;
Looking back.
Wrinkles abode;
Lips mumbling,
I frown to listen;
Silence answered.
Speak!
I shouted,
Fists against the air;
Frustration burning the lung.
Then I heard a voice;
In my head, speaking,
I am you;
And you are me.
And I realise;
Twas my reflection,
Looking back at me;
From the mirror.
