It's been around four months here; I've been taking it easy. Probation's for half year, average we got confirmed on the fourth month.
Not sure if that's the right thing to do as I'd get lazier, but I'm filling my free time fruitfully.
This is my 9th year working. I'm where I wanted to be on a career path.
Now I just gotta hone it.
I'll be starting to take more soft management courses, however I'd like to learn more technicalities as well.
My direction will be better system designs; users must want to come back to use the system instead of making a monopoly system, meaning a system where people use just coz there's no other available.
I just had my appraisal today. My boss told me he gave me outstanding, one of the few.
I cant beat outstanding next year; my company's appraisal dont have spectacular.
Sigh.
Guess I'm playing by ear and take on more technical and management skills as well while learning to listen more, give people space to talk more.
